The history is superbly documented by Bill Roberts - it is reproduced here as faithfully as it can from the original, lovingly typed pages.  You will need Adobe Acrobat to read the file.  If you do not have it on your system it is a completely safe free download from Adobe.  The third file is a timeline of events compiled by the Witcombs and covers the periods 1977 to 1999.  This third file is crying out to be brought up to date if anyone would care to volunteer!
